National Principals Month: Amber Guidry

To celebrate National Principals Month, we’re sharing some fun facts about our amazing school administrators. Today you’ll learn more about Mrs. Amber Guidry, principal of North Larose Elementary School.

Here’s the inside scoop on Mrs. Guidry:

🟦 She’s in her first year as principal.
🟦 She says the most rewarding part about being a principal is building meaningful relationships with students, staff and families. These connections create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive, grow and succeed together.
🟦 Her favorite subject in school was math. “There's something magical about understanding how numbers work. It's like solving tiny mysteries every day.”
🟦 Her all-time favorite school lunch is fish and cheese.
🟦 One of her bucket list items is to visit Jerusalem, specifically to hike up the Mount of Olives.
🟦 Outside of work she loves spending quality time with her family. “It's the best way to unwind. And honestly, a good nap is sometimes the perfect recharge!”
🟦 Fun Fact: She loves cowbells! “If you hear a random ‘ding-ding’ echoing through the halls, don’t worry. It’s just me keeping the NLES spirit alive.”
